St Andrews Watch – Day 1
00:19 Tuesday 27th November
Mikey is in St Andrews. Of his two housemates, one is on the sofa. It’s Scottish Steve. He is sleeping after sandwiches. English Glen has gone to bed after tiring himself out from singing for an hour:
Mikey is a cock, cock.
Mikey is a cock, cock.
Cock. cock. cock.
Cock. cock. cock.
Cock, cock, cock, cock, cock. Cock.
Cock, cock, cock, cock, cock. Cock.
Cock. cock. cock.
Cock. cock. cock.
25 days until Mikey gets to leave St Andrews for Xmas.
Week 12 – Superburrl I
“Don’t kick it to Devin!” Oh yes they did! If you look at highlights of the Denver-Chicago game from last night at Soldier Field after each quarter you continually find yourself asking, “How could any more shit go down?!” Devin Hester! That’s how. That’s two touchdown returns in one game baby! Anyway, it brightened things up for me after the Seahawks nabbed a victory from us in Week 11.
“What about Burrold?” I hear you say. Well, McNabb was out and they were facing the best team in the NFL, the New England Patriots. What did that mean? Typically it meant the Eagles “brought it” to the Patriots giving them their closest game of the year and narrowly missing out on a huge win to turn around their season. But not all is over because…
…last night the Chris’ New York Giants took on the underestimated (but still shit) Vikings in the Big Apple. The Vikings were without star RB Adrian Peterson, but who needs record-breaking rookies when you’re playing NY QB1, Eli Manning? Four interceptions? Thank you very much. You can try as hard as you want Chris, but great styled hair doesn’t beat no hair. And that’s why, despite all our jibes at Thomas, he is still the unbeatable man. Still, I bet he wishes he had hair nonetheless…
Minnesota Vikings 41
New York Giants 17
Denver Broncos 34
Chicago Bears 37 (won in overtime)
Philadelphia Eagles 28
New England Patriots 31
Thanksgiving – Superburrl I
So it was Thanksgiving yesterday. Turkey was had, cranberry sauce was consumed and football was watched. Well, actually none of that was done, as Chan and myself were hitting the Classic Grand for Rilo Kiley. But that’s another blog altogether.
If you’re not familiar with the football on Thanksgiving, it traditionally consists of two games – a Cowboys home game and a Detoit Lions home game. Although this year a Colts-Falcons game was thrown in there for good measure too (just in case you want some football viewing in the background come dessert!)
New York Jet 3
Dallas Cowboys 34
Indianapolis Colts 31
Atlanta Falcons 13
Green Bay Packers 37
Detroit Lions 26
Hey check out those Lions. Result!
Kathryn Calder’s Hair

It has always been widely accepted that Amélie sets the benchmark for having the best hair ever. However, I now feel that a new standard has been set. Has Kathryn Calder got great hair or greatest hair? Have I got a case or has my judgement been impaired? I’m opening this up to the opinions of the five other bloggers of mm and to our readers.
