BREAKING: Clements Under Refurbishment…
Forget Victoria Square’s Thursday opening, Belfast just landed the refurbishment and re-opening of MMs favoured coffee house.
Here’s the break down.
The doors closed Friday 29th of February with a scheduled re-opening Tueday 4th March.
With a refurb… I’m gonna throw this out there, Clements (Botanic Avenue) is open for review.
Burr’s Two Fingers to Clements Tour of Cafes continues with Tchai-Ovna, the final review in the Special Glasgow Series.

Well that’s thrown a spanner in the works… What do we do now? Does Burr scope the place out himself for reopening day or do we wait for a group review? Also, is it just the Botanic Clements being refurbished?

Also, CD, taking pictures of sweaty men at work hammering and carrying shit – you would have looked pretty gay.

Oh right, so it’s not actually a secret that we still think Clements is still the best? Tchai-Ovna might be with you tonight. I’ve written half the review, but I am currently exhausted from trying to throw discs against the wind for two days.

tchai-ovna holds some great memories for me. Trying all the different flavours of shisha tabacco, playing cluedo whilst discussing Mr T, and trying not to laugh while eavesdropping on some of the most pretentious student conversations ever heard.
Last itme i was there, a fight broke out when two cutomers disagreed about existentialism.
